Commercial Service Division Manager
Alan Austin was born and raised in Buncombe County and resides in Leicester with his wife and his three greatest blessings, his children. Also, a sweet rescue kitty, named Bea. That may possibly think she’s a dog because she doesn’t have many cat skills.
Alan graduated Asheville Buncombe Community College with a degree in HVAC/R and with honors from Temple Baptist School. He has over 27 years commercial HVAC/R service experience and has been a NC licensed refrigeration contractor since 1994. Alan proudly obtained all 3 NC HVAC licenses in 2018. He is very committed to his company and their valued customers.
Alan is a trustee at Beulah Baptist Church in Leicester. He is very involved with his church through mission trips, cooking for church events and the occasional hay ride and bonfire. He is also on the building team for his church. Beulah has been blessed by God to be given the means to build a new building for the ever-growing congregation.
Alan and his family live on a small family owned 6th generation beef cattle farm. The farm not only supplies his family with homegrown beef it allows for a great educational environment for his family. His farm is also home to a Quarter horse named Diamond (his first baby), and a not -so -farm - dog, Australian Shepherd, Tanner, and an occasional chicken, goat, sheep or pig.
Alan's hobbies include farming, putting up hay, cooking, smoking meats, grilling and most of all... eating. He is always up for trying a new recipe or restaurant.
